Welcome to The Retro DomeThe Retro Dome is San Jose's newest and grooviest performing arts center. The former Century 25 Theatre at Westgate Mall in San Jose, California has been completely reimagined and now sports a new name, a vintage vibe and a hip, retro-modern interior. The Dome serves as a home to live professional musical theatre, retro film, live music, and comedy. What's New/What's Now08.29.10 Time is running out to cast your vote for The Retro Dome in The Metro's Best of Silicon Valley 2010! We're nominated in the "Best Art House/Independent Theatre" and "Best Small Theatre Company" categories. You do need to vote for at least 25 categories for your vote to be valid. Might we suggest some businesses that have been great friends to The Retro Dome that have also been nominated: ComedySportz, Happy Hollow Park & Zoo, Broadway San Jose, San Jose Rep, Pinkberry, Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center (Los Gatos), Jewish Federation of Silicon Valley (write them in for Best organization Making A Difference), Hobee's, Opa!, and Willow St Pizza. 08.30.10 Production has begun for our next live theatrical production, The Fantasticks, and yes, it's going to be fantastic. What a terrific ensemble of stellar singers and performers! And what a beautiful score and story. Plan to attend our opening weekend September 24-26 so you'll have plenty of time to tell you friends to catch it before it closes. 09.01.10 Drum roll please....it's Fan Appreciation Week at The Retro Dome! That's right, in celebration of our 1 Year Anniversary the gang at The Retro Dome has giveaways, prizes, specials and more to make our anniversary celebration a blast. The fun starts at 7pm on Wednesday September 1st with our Indiana Jones Double Feature with "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "Temple of Doom". Screening continue on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so come on down!
